A NEW PACK, A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY!

A good soup warms and unites, but demands the right times to be prepared and enjoyed. The protagonists are legumes and their thousand-year-old history of nutrition within everyone’s reach.

THE BRIEF

The legumes selection under the Esselunga brand has a new look and becomes the protagonist of the season with its autumnal undertones: warmth, home cooking, slow pace and sharing. For the social and retail monitors alike, we need a story that excites without necessarily suggesting a recipe, but focusing on the moments and rituals at the table and in the kitchen.

In the story we invent, we don’t look for special effects, but try to evoke an atmosphere, starting from the moment the pot of legumes is placed on the table, to that first ladle that rises among the vapors and releases taste and scents. The main scene is in fact the one that concludes the video: a large family gathered at the table, in which the interweaving of gestures becomes synonymous with the interweaving of memories and emotions that unites people.

THE BACK

An in-depth study of the lights allows you to create the right atmosphere, that of the late autumn afternoon when the legumes are cooked on a low flame, in a simple, almost country setting. Always the light allows you to create the right focus on the product by immersing it completely in the story. The video, shot with Phantom, has a slow rhythm, as are the times of a good soup. Many movements, especially those on the final overview that shows the new packs, are made with our robot Cooper. The music is deliberately meditative.
